The value creation cycle of Twitter

I don’t see a reason to refrain from the service or feel any ridiculous about it.



  1. Twitter has never been a social network. Their recent redesign clearly reflects so

  2. The best way so far to exploit it is to use it as a information gathering and news distribution tool, so

    1. There shouldn’t be too many gurus

    2. The “lazier” consume what the “loud mouths” have to offer, thus complete the value creation chain on the service



  3. Authority is never automatic. People work hard to achieve it

  4. 1/9 powered by Social Media is still better than 1/1M as in Mass Media, if you value people’s right to be talkative

  5. For a social network which you can enjoy the warmth of one-on-one communication, Facebook et al give you much better utilities


So then, enjoy Twitter, there’s nothing emotional about it…
